Stoney Stanton Parish Council are pleased to be taking part in Leicestershire County Councils initiative to increase wildflowers and improve biodiversity across Leicestershire.

The back section of a large verge on Long Street has been dedicated to this project and will be left unmown to allow an area for wildlife to benefit and wildflowers to flourish.

Lock down in March, we just had time to hold our March meeting which was a cracker. Our speaker, the Cocktails Boys let us down at the last minute, but some members put together something on a similar theme, which meant cocktails and nibbles. Needless to say it was a super evening.
