Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman died in a road traffic collision in Stoney Stanton.
The incident happened around 12.05pm yesterday (Monday 5 January) on Station Road, between Stoney Stanton and Elmesthorpe.
It involved two vehicles, a blue Fiat 500 and a white Citreon Nemo panel van.
The driver of the Fiat, a 19-year-old woman, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the van was taken to the University Hospitals of Coventry and Warwickshire with what was described as non-life-threatening injuries.
Station Road was closed while officers carried out an investigation of the scene. It has since reopened.
Detective Constable Beth Pick from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: "We would like to speak to anyone who was in the area and assisted at the scene.
"If you saw either of the vehicles being driven beforehand or the collision itself or have any dashcam that captured the incident we'd like to hear from you."
"If you have any information that could help with our enquiries and have not yet spoken to officers we urge you to get in contact."
Anyone with any information is asked to call 101, quoting incident number 266 of 7 January.
